  • turkey breast (1 kg)
  • 250 grams salty green cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • zest from half a lemon
  • 3-4 dry big tomatoes
  • fresh dill and parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • provence herbs
  • white wine

Directions for Turkey rolls with green cheese and dry tomatoes

Step 1: Cut the meat in two equal parts, then use the meat hammer to flatten them until you get two large pieces that can be filled and rolled.

Step 2: Mix cheese with green herbs, grated garlic, lemon zest and finely chopped tomatoes. Add salt and pepper. Use this mixture to fill the slices of meat and then roll them. Sprinkle olive oil over them, add salt, pepper and dry herbs. Place the two rolls in a pot with a bit of water and white wine. Cover the pot and put it in the preheated oven, at medium heat for about an hour.

Step 3: Remove foil and and let it get a nice crust. After this, remove it from oven and let it cool off, then slice it. Serve warm with baked potatoes. Enjoy!
