A light and sour-sweet tomato soup with a touch of exotic taste.


  • 1 kg tomatoes
  •  1 carrot 
  • 1 paprika 
  • a parsley root 
  • a piece of celery 
  • an onion 
  • about 3 tablespoons canned tomato 
  • parsley (optional) 
  • tahini sauce

Directions for Tomato soup with tahini sauce

Step 1: Wash the vegetables. Then cut the onion, parseley root, celery root and carrot and put them to boil with a little salt and olive oil. After 20 minutes, add the peeled and cut tomatoes and paprika slices. Boil them for 15 minutes longer and for a more intense taste, add a few tablespoons of tomato pulp from the can. Let it simmer a little longer and then turn it off.

 Step 2: After the vegetables cool off, place them along with the water they boiled in into the blender and mix them well until they turn into a cream. Put the soup back to boil and add salt if necessary. Place the soup into bowls and serve with tahini sauce and chopped parsley. Enjoy!
