  • poppy seeds
  • one egg


  • 150 grams of butter
  • 250 grams cottage cheese
  • salt
  • 300 grams of flour

Directions for Salty sticks with poppy seeds

Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a bowl. You must get a dough that has the consistency like the one of plasteline. Make a round ball, cover in kitchen foil and put it in the fridge for 2 hours in the fridge.

Step 2: Sprinkle some flour on a tray, spread the dough with a kitchen roll making sure it’s half centimeter, then cut them into slices that are as thick as your index finger. Place a sheet of baking paper in a tray, place the sticks on top of it, anoint them with a bit of mixed egg and sprinkle poppy seeds over them. Place them in the preheated oven, over medium heat, until they get a nice, golden color.  Enjoy!
