Recipes - Salmon soup

A delicate soup with a sweet sour taste of milk and lemon.


  • red onion
  • carrot
  • 2 big white potatoes with thin skin
  • 400 grams salmon
  • tbsp butter
  • ½ l milk
  • juice from ½ lemon
  • 1 l water
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • dry dill
  • fresh dill

Directions for Salmon soup

Step 1: Wash and peel the vegetables. Cut the onion finely, grate the carrot and them fry them in melted butter. From time to time, add water and let it simmer. After 5 minutes add 1l of water. Wash well the potatoes, the cut them into small cubes and add them to the soup. Add salt, pepper and dry dill. Boil the soup for 15 minutes, until the potatoes get soft.

Step 2: Clean the skin of the salmon and cut the fish into 2 cm cubes, add them into the soup and boil for 5 minutes more. In the end add the milk and let the soup get warm, but not boil. Then turn off the fire, add lemon juice and freshly chopped dill. Enjoy!
