Directions for Rolls in patience leaves with turkey meat

Step 1: Prepare the dressing first. Chop the turkey breast and mix it with the washed and drained rice. Add grated carrots, a small chopped onion, greens and dry spices. Heat oil in a saucepan and add the meat, stirring well until it changes color. Add salt and pepper, tomato juice and simmer over low heat until the meat is tender, stirring constantly so it does not stick. Remove from the heat and add finely parsley chopped. Allow to cool.

Step 2: Meanwhile prepare the leaves of patience. Chose the large leaves, rinse them well, then put them in a pot with boiling water for a few seconds, until soft and starting to change color. Remove and allow to drain. Cut along the stem and leaves, but not all, without breaking the leaf in half. Folds the leaves in half, "upside down", and carefully cut the stem! Wrap the leaves well over the filling, because when they cook they become tender and can break! Put them in a pot or jena bowl.

Step 3: For the sauce, mix tomato juice with borsch and salt to taste, then pour it over the  cabbage rolls, to cover them for at least two fingers. Place them in the hot oven at medium heat for 30-40 minutes.

Sprinkle with chopped dill and serve with yogurt or sour cream. Enjoy!
