Quiche has become one of my favorite recipes because it's very easy to make and it's exceptionally tasty. The basic recipe is from www.adihadean.ro to which I added my modifications.


  • 200 grams flour
  • 60 grams butter
  • 5 tablespoons cold water
  • salt
  • 150-200 grams camembert cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 250 grams hard cheese
  • a bit of blue cheese
  • one red pepper
  • chives
  • parsley
  • 2 eggs

Directions for Quiche with camembert and vegetables

First step: Add a bit of salt to flour, then mix it with butter at room temperature and 5 tablespoons of cold water. Don't mix too much, so that you don't get a gummy dough. Using a dough roller, flatten the dough so that it fits the bottom a round baking pan, covering its margins too. First place a sheet of baking paper in the pan, but you can also use butter so that the quiche doesn't stick to the bottom. Then place dough on it and puncture it from place to place using a fork.

Step 2: Grate hard cheese and put it in a bowl. Wash, clean and cut red pepper into small pieces. Also wash and finelly chop parsley. Put eggs in a bowl and mix them with the fork or mixer. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix (cheese, parsley, red pepper). Add a bit of salt and pepper and a 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream.

Step 3: Cut camembert cheese into not too thick slices and place them over the dough. Pour the other cheese mixture over it. Add pieces of blue cheese from place to place, on top of the quiche. Put the quiche in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until it gets a nice crust. It's delicious simple or with salad. Enjoy!
