When I saw on my friend's Facebook wall the picture of a soft, warm slice of bread, I instantly wanted to taste it. When I read how easy it is to make, I went straight to the kitchen and started working on it. It's super easy to make, it has a nice crust and a very soft dough and you can add seeds, herbs, olives, whatever you want to make it richer. Enjoy! And thank you, Ioana , for the recipe :*

Ingredients

  •  380 ml warm water or milk
  • 25 grams yeast
  • 500 grams flour
  • salt 
  • teaspoon sugar
  • herbs, seeds, elives (extra)

Directions for No knead bread

Step 1: In a big bowl put the yeast, sugar and milk and mix it gently, so that the yeast disolves. I put it aside for about 5 minutes.

Step 2: The add flour and the rest of ingredients. I added first 250 grams of flour, mixed, then added the rest with a bit of salt, herbs and seeds (I added Herbes d Provence and pumpkin seeds- and quite a lot too). Cover with a towel and let it grow (for an hour).

Step 3: Preheat oven at 180 degrees. Pour the dough in a baking tray, on top of baking paper. The dough is quite solid, but very sticky, so help it "fall" in the tray by using a spoon. Bake it for about an hour. When it was ready, I took it out and covered it with a towel and let it cool off for a few minutes. I ate a few warm slices with cheese and Turkish olives marinated in olive oil, oregano and garlic. It's one of the tastiest breads I ever tried, crunchy at the outside and very moist and fluffy on the inside. Enjoy!
