Ideal for Valentine's Day and not only: a light and fruity cake to win everyone's heart!


  • baked cake
  • 250 g berries 
  • 2-3 tablespoons of sugar 
  • 100 ml cream 
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin 
  • syrup

Directions for Mousse cake with berries

Step 1: First of all you have to make the mousse: add sugar to the fruits and put them in a pot over medium heat and wait till they start boiling. Hydrate the gelatin in a few spoons of water, remove the excess moisture and add it to the fruits, mixing very well. Let it all cool off and then add the whipped cream and homogenize it.

Step 2: Cut a heart into the cake with a metal form, in which you mount the cake as well. Add syrup to the cake batter to make it moist, then add a layer of mousse, another layer off cake and a last one of mousse. In the end let the cake cool off for about two hours, until the mousse gets hard. Then remove it from the form. Enjoy!
