  • 280 ml warm milk
  • 60 grams melted butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ½ sugar
  • 500 grams flour
  • 2 tsp granulated yeast Filling:
  • slices of black olives
  • fine slices of red onion
  • grated garlic
  • mix of thyme
  • basil
  • dry onion
  • dry dill
  • mixed egg

Directions for Mini baguettes with green herbs

Step 1: Make a batter from the first set of ingredients and keep it covered for an hour, in an warm place.

Step 2: Divide the batter in 5-6 pieces and roll them into the shape of baguetes. Flatten them a little by hand and put the filling inside. Put olives in some of them, red onion in other and grated garlic in the rest. Roll them and place them in a tray, over baking paper. Keep it in a warm place for another half of hour.

Step 3: Cut the baguettes on top from place to place and give them some moisture by annointing them with mixed egg. Sprinkle herbs on top and a few slices of olives. Place the tray in the pre-heated oven and keep them cooking until they get a beautiful golden crust. Remove them on a grill and let them cool off. Enjoy!
