There's nothing better than wine to compliment a delicious fish dish, especially if the drink is used for cooking, ensuring that the meat will have a subtle aroma. Try this easy and tasty recipe with some baked vegetables and rice.


  • trout (1.5 kg)
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • lemon
  • 2 green hreads of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 50 ml white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • sea salt
  • 100 ml water

Directions for Marinated trout with baked vegetables

Clean and rinse the fresh fish, remove head and tail. Place it in a deep pan. Peel lemon, removing even the white skin. The slice it and place each slice inside and outside the fish. Salt it very well inside and out. Wash tomatoes, cut them in not too small cubes and place over fish. Rinse green garlic and slice it finely. Sprinkle it over fish along with capers and a bit of vinaigrette from the capers jar. Sprinkle fish with a little oil, add wine and water in the tray, cover with aluminum foil and place it in the oven for 25 minutes. Serve with rice and boiled or steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
