Recipes - Marinated chicken breast

This recipe requires to marinate the chicken for two days before cooking it, so if you want to prepare it, make sure you start early. By marinating it, all the spices give a special aroma to the meat and they make it very tender as well.


  • 4 chicken breasts

first marinade:

  • 2-3 tablespoons of sugar
  • a tablespoon of salt
  • allspice
  • 2-3 laurel leaves
  • pepper
  • water

second marinade:

  • soy sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • pepper
  • olive oil

Directions for Marinated chicken breast

Step 1: Mix the ingredients for the first marinade, add a bit of water and put the meat it. Make sure that it’s covered in this sauce. Put it in the fridge for 24 hours.

Step 2: Remove it, dry it well on a clean kitchen towel and prepare the second marinade. Place the meat in this sauce and put it again in the fridge for 24 hours. Remove from the fridge and roll the pieces of meat and tie them up so that they get a nice shape. Cover  them in aluminium foil and place them on a tray and then in the preheated oven.

Step 3: Remove foil after 20 minutes and put the chicken breasts back in the oven. Sprinkle the meat with sauce from the tray until it’s ready. When it’s ready, let it cool off in the tray, then remove the thread. Slice it and serve. Enjoy!
