A traditional recipe with a spicy twist. Only for the fish lovers.


  • 2 mackerels
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon colorful pepper
  • ½ teaspoon tarragon
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 laurel leaves
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 2 tablespoons tomato juice
  • 200 ml water

Directions for Mackerel with spicy sauce

Cut and clean the fish and rinse it well with cold water. Salt it and place it in a baking tray. Dabble some olive oil over it and then place it into the oven. In the meantime put laurel leaves, pepper, salt, minced garlic, tarragon and water in a kettle. After it simmers for a while, add wine and tomato juice and pour it over fish. From time to time sprinkle sauce over fish to allow the aromas to get in. When it gets a nice crust, it means it is ready. Serve it with rice, potatoes, mushrooms.
