If you want something to give you a boost of vitamins, try a colorful salad that is both tasty and filling.


  • half of a green salad
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp canned corn
  • 4 slices ham
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 green bell
  • 4 tbsp yellow beans from the jar
  • 4 tbsp grated cheese


  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • one small creamy yogurt
  • tbsp milk
  • tsp mustard
  • tbsp sunflower
  • tbsp lemon zest
  • tbsp vinegar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sweet paprika
  • 2 tbsp green onion
  • dill and parsley
  • fresh thyme

Directions for Layered salad with mayonnaise and yogurt

Step 1: First of all prepare the dressing, then keep it in the fridge until the salad is made. Put in a bowl the mayonnaise, the yogurt and the milk and mix them well, then add the mustard, the oil, the vinegar and mix again. Add salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Wash the green onion and cut them and the thyme as well. Add the greens over the dressing. Put the bowl in the fridge.

Step 2: The take big tall bowls and place the first layer of green salad, finely chopped. Then add tomatoe slices, corn, the ham cut into cubes, the sliced pickles, the green bell cut into bigger cubes, the yellow beans and in the end the grated cheese. Then pour dressing in the bowls and see how the colors from the bowls mix. Keep it in the fridge for half an hour and serve it with fresh bread. Enjoy!
