Sweet tarts are a creamy desert, perfect for the summer time, when the ripe fruit are in season.


  • 300 grams flour
  • 200 grams warm butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 grams sugar
  • salt

Vanilla cream:

  • 0,5 l milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 big tbsp flour
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 vanilla essences  

Fruit for decoration:

  • pineapple
  • oranges
  • kiwi
  • grapes

Directions for Fruit tarts

Step 1: Put the flour in a big bowl, make a howl in the middle and add the butter cut in the pieces, the eggs, sugar and salt. Mix it well by hand until it gets homogenous. Put it in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Step 2: In a pot, put the milk to boil along with the mixed eggs, add the flour mixed with sugar and mix it well. When it thickens, remove it from the stove and let it cool down. Add the vanilla.

Step 3:  Anoint the tart forms. Take a ball of batter and put it in the forms making sure you cover the walls. Prick it the batter with the fork in a few places.

Step 4: Cook the tarts into the pre-heated oven, at medium heat, for 20 minutes. Remove them from the forms while they are still hot, then let them cool down, fill them with cream and decorate them with fruit. Enjoy!
