The lamb is undoubtedly the symbol of Easter, so what better cake to capture the atmosphere of this holiday than a sweet lemony one, in the shape of a lamb? Not only it's decorative, but is full of flavor as well.


  • 120 grams sugar
  • 120 grams flour
  • 120 grams palm oil (butter)
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • peel from one lemon
  • lamb shaped pan

Directions for Easter lamb cake

Step 1: Mix the eggs with white sugar and vanilla sugar until it turns into a sweet foam. Add the palm oil and keep mixing, adding the lemon peel as well. Sift over it the white flour that was mixed with baking powder. Place the resulting batter into a lamb shape that was greased and powdered with flour.

Step 2: Place the lamb pan in a tray and put them in the oven for 40 minutes. Then let it cool off and afterwards take the cake out of the lamb shape and decorate the lamb with white chocolate, vanilla sugar. You can put allspice instead of eyes or other seeds. It’s very festive and has a delicious taste. Enjoy!
