Who doesn't like donuts? Soft, fluffy and sweet ... and when they are glazed, they taste heavenly.


  • 200 grams yogurt
  • Egg
  • 25grams sugar
  • 25 grams butter
  • Vanilla essence
  • 50 ml milk
  • Yeast
  • 400 grams flour
  • Oil for frying

For the glaze:

  • 100 grams chocolate
  • 50 ml whipped cream

Directions for Donuts with chocolate glazing

Step 1: Put the yeast in a cup and pour warm milk over it. Mix the egg with sugar and a little salt, add the melted butter, yogurt and vanilla esence. Gradually add flour and make an elastic batter. Let it grow in a warm place and keep it covered under a clean kitchen towel. In the meantime prepare the glaze.

Step 2: Place the liquid cream in a pot over medium heat and when it gets warm add the chocolate torn into pieces. Mix until the chocolate melts, then let it cool off.

Step 3: Spread a piece of batter on the working tabble and cut circles with a drinking glass. Fry the donuts in a pot with hot oil until they turn golden on both sides (you have to turn them). Remove them on a paper towel to absorb the excess of oil. After they cool down a little, glaze them with the liquid chocolate and place them on a platter. Enjoy!
