The cheesecake is one of the most appreciated deserts at the Easter table and although most recipes are simple, with white cheese and raisins, you can always mix it up a little to recreate something new. The chocolate cheesecake is a decadent recipe for the ones who prefer not to decide about one filling, but blend them for more flavor.


  • 300 grams batter for nut cake
  • 150 grams dark cocoa
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 30 grams starch
  • 8 yolks vanilla essence
  • 30 ml milk
  • 200 grams butter
  • 3 tbsp sour cream

Directions for Chocolate cheesecake

Step 1 : Mix the yolks with sugar until it turns into a homogenous cream. Add the cocoa, milk and starch. Then place it to boil in low heat or at bain marine and mix until it gets thick. Let it cool off, then add the butter and sour cream.

Step 2: Pour the batter in a rounded pan over baking paper, making sure you cover its walls as well, forming a margin. Pour the cream cheese, the place it in the oven for an hour. Turn the fire off, let it cool down in the pan, remove the detachable walls and decorate it how you prefer.
