Cheese terrine is a delicate and sophisticated looking dish, which is actually quite easy to make. It's very festive and surely you will impress your guests with it.


  • 400 grams cottage cheese
  • 200 grams mascarpone
  • 200 grams sheep cheese
  • 250 grams butter cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 2 gelatins
  • bunch green dill
  • 3 boiled carrots
  • 200-300 grams smoked salmon
  • 3-4 leaves sage
  • lemon salt pepper

Directions for Cheese terrine

Step 1: Using a big bowl mix all the cheeses that were kept at room temperature before usage. Dissolve the gelatin in wine at bain-marie for about 15 minutes at small heat. Then add the jelly to the cheese cream, plus the milk and finely chopped sage and dill. Add salt and peper.

Step 2: Put some plastic cooking foil in a terrine pot or a bun tray and then add the salmon over it. Add half of the cheese mixture, then the carrots, then the rest of the cheese and the remaining salmon. Pack all the cheese in plastic foil and keep it in the fridge for around 12 hours. Then remove it from the terrine pot, slice it and decorate it with sage and dill. Enjoy!
