Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • baking powder
  • rum essence

Cream

  • 175 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 175 ml whipped cream
  • vanilla

Directions for Cake with cream and strawberries

Countertops:

Separate yolks and whites. Mix whites with sugar and a pinch of salt, until they turn into a hard foam. Mix yolks with the oil and essence. Pour the beaten egg white all over, then put flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa. Mix gently stirring, from the bottom up.

The composition is divided in two and placed on baking sheets in trays (20/30 cm). Bake at medium heat for about 15 minutes. Remove on a rack and leave to cool, without overlapping them.

Cream:

Mix soft butter (at room temperature) with sugar and vanilla until it gets fluffy. Mix cream until stiff, then incorporate butter cream little by little.

Anoint tops with a syrup prepared from 100 ml water 100 g sugar and rum essence. Put cream on one of the tops, cover with the second crust and place it in the fridge for 1 hour.

Decorate with cream and strawberries. Enjoy!
